  • Marketing and Communication are from the beginning of this industry at the core of the fashion business. Managing a Fashion Brand in the contemporary scenario requires a great deal of quali-quantitative competences. The Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) Marketing & Communication in Fashion Industry aims at supporting professionals from fashion and luxury firms in the development of their managerial skills towards an effective implementation of the main Marketing & Communication paradigms in the fashion arena.The CAS begins with a comprehensive understanding of Marketing & Branding principles necessary to build an authentic identity, from all the qualitative and quantitative tools needed to make a consistent communication campaign, to an in-depth view of the major merchandising and distribution challenges, and eventually to the analysis and management of customer data.This CAS is part of the Master of Advanced Studies in Fashion Innovation (MFI), which has been jointly developed by the Department of Innovative Technologies of SUPSI, Ticinomoda and Chamber of Commerce (Ticino).
  • Obiettivi
  • At the end of the CAS students will be able to: - Identify the multiple factors and disciplines affecting the brand management process and apply multiple techniques to develop one’s identity - Identify tools and KPI to measure the fulfilment of Marcom objectives - Apply the right mix of communication choices to reach the brand objective - Identify and distinguish between the sources and processes of garment production and apply technical considerations to the garment and range planning process and distribution on a worldwide scale - Identify the main challenges on customer management issues The CAS program equips students in development pools with the right set of skills required to cover professional roles in innovation positions in different companies’ departments, from senior managers to the next generation of C-level leaders.
  • Requisiti
  • The CAS is aimed at all graduated people (Bachelor Degree) with proved English proficiency and with relevant professional experience in the fashion industry.The CAS program may also be opened to people with equivalent qualifications. In this case, once the application form has been received, SUPSI will check the suitability of the applicant.

  • - Introduction to Fashion Marketing & Brand Management: definition, consumer analysis and case studies - Fashion identity building tools and branding mechanisms. - Fashion communication, advertising and promotion strategies: from the image to the art of influence - Fashion merchandising and retailing principles and techniques - The importance of customer data and big data management

  • 4 months starting from September 2020. Approximately 120 hours in class.
